EcoMeal Organic is based in New York City, the most populated and diverse city in our country. We realized there was an overwhelming amount of food retailers in New York City and an overwhelming amount of small local producers just a couple of hours away. However there weren’t many means for both sides to work together. This troubled us. New York City has thousands of stores and neighboring local farms that have quality products and we wanted to help both industries grow.
In 2001 EcoMeal Organic was founded as manufactures and distributors of organic and all natural products. Unlike other companies we were willing to go pick up products ourselves in the Amish countries of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and upstate New York. By maintaining a strict philosophy of selling only all natural products that are free of genetically engineered ingredients or preservatives we quickly gained brand loyalty for the EcoMeal Organic name. These products were a hit amongst local New York gourmet markets and were soon found on the shelves of national supermarkets chains.
Ten years later, EcoMeal Organic, currently distributes products from 40 different manufactures including our own of dairy, frozen and grocery products. Our EcoMeal Organic brand currently ranges from a full line of dairy products to pickled vegetables & honey to grains.
We currently serve major supermarkets, health food stores and high-end gourmet markets in the tri-state area.
